About Highpoint:

Highpoint is a small kennel based in Stillwater, MN.  I acquired my first Aussie in 1998 from Shirley Gambold of Lakespring Australian Shepherds when I lived in Memphis, TN.  Little did I know how my relationship with Shirley, and with this wonderful breed, would affect my life.  Over the last nine years I have shown five of my own dogs to their AKC championships.  I have also shown multiple dogs for friends and acquaintances.  I was very fortunate to have Shirley's guidance as I learned to groom and to handle.  Although I have only competed in conformation, several of my dogs have been tried on sheep and exhibit natural interest and balance.  I am interested in attempting other venues of competition over the next few years.

Highpoint will remain a small kennel.  I breed primarily for myself.  I am interested in maintaining the versatility of the breed and choose dogs for my breeding program based on both their physical and intellectual attributes.  My dogs need to be emotionally, as well as physically sound. 

We are thrilled to announce the newest members of our family--AKC/ASCA CH Highpoint's Sweet William from Petal's first litter.
